The BenQ LU935 is a 6,000 ANSI lumen laser projector built for conference rooms, lecture halls and large meeting spaces that cannot be darkened on demand. Its WUXGA (1920 x 1200) DLP image carries more vertical detail than Full HD – spreadsheets, drawings and dashboards show in full – while the laser light source removes lamp changes from the maintenance calendar for up to 20,000 hours.
Key Features
6,000 ANSI lumens for bright rooms and large screens
WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution in a 16:10 format
Laser light source rated up to 20,000 hours – no lamp replacements
3,000,000:1 contrast for deep blacks and readable fine detail
1.6x zoom with wide vertical and horizontal lens shift for flexible placement
HDBaseT: video, audio, control and LAN over a single cable up to 100 m
Network control via Crestron, Extron, PJ-Link and BenQ DMS
Built for Installed Rooms
Installation projectors earn their keep in the ceiling, and the LU935 is specified accordingly. The combination of a 1.36-2.18 throw ratio, 1.6x zoom and generous lens shift (vertical -60% to +60%, horizontal -23% to +23%) means the unit can usually go where the mount, the power point and the cable run already are, rather than forcing the room to adapt to the projector. Two-dimensional keystone correction cleans up the geometry when perfect alignment is impossible. HDBaseT collapses the long run between rack and projector into one RJ-45 cable carrying video, audio, RS-232 and LAN, which is how large rooms stay reliable: fewer converters, fewer failure points.
Laser Economics and Daily Operation
A laser source changes the ownership maths of a busy meeting space. There are no lamps to buy, stock or change mid-semester; brightness decays slowly and predictably instead of falling off a cliff; and the projector starts instantly and can be blanked to true black for pauses in a presentation. Network management through BenQ DMS or standard control systems lets IT monitor and switch a fleet of rooms centrally instead of walking to each one with a remote.
