Alto TX308 8-Inch Powered PA Loudspeaker
Alto TX308 is a 8-inch two-way active loudspeaker with a Class D amplifier rated at 350 watts peak. It provides a straightforward wired PA or monitor option with a microphone/line input, link output and local level control.
Why Choose Alto TX308?
The compact 8-inch format suits a speech system, a small rehearsal position or a portable monitor where low weight and cabinet size are priorities. Bass-heavy programmes may need a subwoofer rather than excessive low-frequency boost.
Key Features
- 8-inch woofer: handles low-frequency reproduction within the two-way system.
- Built-in Class D amplification: removes the need for a separate speaker amplifier.
- Mic/line input and link output: support a simple wired signal chain.
- Limiter and protection circuitry: assist normal operation without replacing careful gain setting.
Best Suited For
Live sound, rehearsal, speech reinforcement and wired playback systems with appropriate signal sources.
Setup and Connection Guide
Connect a suitable source at the correct mic or line level and begin with gain low. Position the cabinet for audience coverage or the intended monitor role, keeping microphones out of its main projection. Increase levels gradually and watch the limiting indication. A powered speaker still requires mains electricity, safe support and the right cable route.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does this model have Bluetooth or a battery?
The TX3 model described here uses wired audio and mains power. If Bluetooth playback is a priority, compare the TS4 range and check the exact model rather than assuming all Alto speakers share the same features.
Is the quoted wattage continuous power?
Unless specifically labelled continuous, the rating shown here is peak amplifier power. Use the manufacturer’s separate figures when comparing models, and consider cabinet coverage and output as well as watts.
Can I connect several microphones?
Use a separate mixer when you need multiple microphones, source EQ or monitor routing beyond the speaker’s own inputs. Feed the mixed signal to the speaker at the correct level.
