BEC Akustik IC-100 Slim Line-Array Speakers — Pair

BEC Akustik IC-100 Slim Line-Array Speakers — Pair
BEC Akustik IC-100 Pair is a slim passive loudspeaker listing for installed music or speech systems. This entry is sold as a pair in the supplied inventory. Why Choose BEC Akustik IC-100 Pair? The IC-100 belongs to BEC Akustik’s narrow array-speaker family, designed around vertically arranged wideband drivers and an aluminium cabinet. Its slim form can suit wall-led room layouts where a conventional deep cabinet is awkward. The photos and manufacturer references include IC EVO wording, while the store name omits a generation suffix; confirm the actual version before transferring detailed power, dimensions or driver figures. Use an appropriate crossover and external amplifier, and plan bass support for music rather than expecting strong deep bass from a very slim enclosure alone. Key Features – Slim array format: discreet installed channel placement. – Passive speaker role: external amplification needed. – Aluminium family design: narrow architectural enclosure. – Package distinction: pair listing; verify contents. Best Suited For
Discreet installed music, speech and home-audio channels where a very slim loudspeaker fits the room. Plan mounting height and aiming around the seats and listening area. The array format shapes coverage, while suitable amplification, bass management and room placement complete the system rather than the cabinet working independently. Setup and Connection Guide
Confirm the exact speaker generation, impedance and mounting hardware before planning the installation. Secure the cabinet to suitable support using its documented method and connect speaker cable with consistent polarity while the amplifier is off. Set appropriate high-pass filtering or the recommended crossover arrangement to protect the slim drivers. Integrate a suitable subwoofer where the system needs deeper bass, then check coverage and level from several listening positions. Test each channel before completing the wall or cable finish and do not assume an optional stand or crossover is included. Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use every IC EVO numerical specification for this unsuffixed IC-100 listing? Confirm the actual stock generation first. The photos and references include EVO models, while the inventory uses the shorter IC name. Use the correct rear label and sheet for impedance, driver arrangement, dimensions and power limits. Can a slim passive array stream music directly over Bluetooth? It requires suitable external amplification and source equipment. Its slim cabinet and driver geometry do not add a wireless receiver or a power amplifier. Choose upstream electronics for the required streaming and control functions. Does the slim cabinet replace the need for a bass system? The speaker’s usable low-frequency range and operating level must suit the programme. A properly integrated subwoofer and appropriate high-pass filtering can be important. Follow the exact model’s crossover and protection guidance rather than applying large bass boosts.
