Heco Victa Prime 302 Surround Speaker is a 2-way bass-reflex bookshelf and surround speaker from the Victa Prime series, sized at 203 x 347 x 315 mm and rated at 85 watts RMS for stereo pairs and home-cinema surround channels.
The Victa Prime series is built on a fundamentally correct concept: MDF panels with rounded side panels for a low-resonance cabinet, long-fibre kraft-paper cones for stability and freedom from distortion in the critical frequency ranges, and a phase- and amplitude-optimised crossover with high-quality components. In the 302 those ideas arrive in a compact cabinet that fits on a stand or shelf.
Why Choose Heco Victa Prime 302 Surround Speaker?
Surround and bookshelf speakers are often an afterthought, but a surround channel that cannot keep up with the front speakers breaks the cinema illusion, so the 90 dB sensitivity and 150 watt maximum handling here let this model hold its own in a full Victa Prime system. The bi-wiring and bi-amping terminal option also keeps an upgrade path open.
Key Features
2-way bass-reflex design: compact cabinet with airflow-optimised reflex tuning
Kraft-paper cones: long-fibre kraft-paper drivers for stable, low-distortion reproduction
Low-resonance cabinet: MDF construction with rounded side panels
High sensitivity: 90 dB, so modest amplifiers drive it comfortably
Bi-wiring option: high-quality gold-plated terminals with bi-wiring and bi-amping support
Best Suited For
Home-cinema surround channels in a Victa Prime system, small-room stereo pairs on stands, and bedrooms or studies where a compact bookshelf speaker must still sound full. That is the listener Heco Victa Prime 302 Surround Speaker is built for.
Setup and Connection Guide
Place the pair on stands or a sturdy shelf at roughly ear height, connect them to an amplifier or AV receiver rated between 30 and 150 watts, and keep the rear bass-reflex port clear of the wall for clean bass. As surround speakers, position them to the sides or slightly behind the listening position at a similar height to the front speakers.
Use good-quality speaker cable, keep both channels the same length, and start at moderate volume while the placement settles.
