Heco INC 82 In-Ceiling Speaker is the largest model in the Install Basic series, a 2-way in-ceiling speaker with a 200 mm waterproof textured polypropylene cone and a 25 mm coated fabric dome tweeter for powerful bass and high maximum volume from the ceiling.
The larger 200 mm driver is what separates this model from its smaller siblings: it reproduces the bass range with more authority and reaches a higher maximum volume, while the coaxial layout and pivoting tweeter keep the sound even across the room. As with the rest of the series, the grille is removable for installation and the whole system is moisture-proof.
Why Choose Heco INC 82 In-Ceiling Speaker?
For a main listening room or a larger open space, a small ceiling speaker can sound thin at higher volumes, so the bigger cone, 100 watt RMS rating and 91 dB sensitivity here give the installer headroom without changing the discreet white ceiling appearance. The three-setting tweeter level control then adapts the treble to reflective or heavily furnished rooms.
Key Features
200 mm woofer: waterproof textured polypropylene cone for powerful bass and high maximum volume
25 mm fabric dome tweeter: specially coated soft dome, coaxially mounted, pivoting up to 35 degrees

Moisture-proof system: suitable for humid rooms such as bathrooms
Clean installation: special clamping mechanism, removable grille and gold-plated push terminals
Best Suited For
Larger living rooms, open-plan spaces and main listening areas where ceiling speakers must also deliver real bass, plus bathrooms and humid rooms where a moisture-proof speaker is required. That is the listener Heco INC 82 In-Ceiling Speaker is built for.
Setup and Connection Guide
Cut a 237 mm opening, remove the grille, loosen the clamping screws to position A, insert the speaker, then tighten the screws so the clamps pivot to position B and secure it at 88 mm mounting depth. Connect speaker cable to the gold-plated push terminals with the amplifier off, set the tweeter level to suit the room, and refit the grille.
Aim the pivoting tweeter toward the main listening area if seating is off-centre, and keep cable runs equal in length for a matched stereo pair.
