Electro-Voice EVOLVE 50M Portable Column Loudspeaker System

Electro-Voice EVOLVE 50M

The Electro-Voice EVOLVE 50M is built for buyers who want proven professional performance without compromise, and this listing covers what it does, who it suits, and how to set it up. Whether it is going into a venue, a studio, a place of worship or a creator desk, the Electro-Voice EVOLVE 50M earns its place by doing its core job exceptionally well, with the build quality and control expected from its brand.

Why Choose the Electro-Voice EVOLVE 50M?

The EVOLVE 50M is the system that lets a small team run a full event from one box: a 1000-watt column array and 12-inch subwoofer deliver 127 dB of even, room-filling sound, while the built-in 8-channel mixer removes the need for a separate console. Vocals, instruments, a DJ feed and background music can all plug straight in, and QuickSmart DSP keeps the sound polished with presets, EQ and effects. For a performer, a wedding DJ or a small band, it replaces a van full of gear with one elegant column. The Electro-Voice EVOLVE 50M is a practical, long-term choice: it is designed to be used daily, to integrate with the rest of a system, and to keep performing long after cheaper alternatives have been replaced.

Key Features

• One system, no extra mixer: eight input channels, including four mic/line combos, stereo line, Hi-Z, RCA, 3.5 mm and Bluetooth, handle a whole show from the subwoofer panel.
• Room-filling column sound: eight 3.5-inch array drivers and a 12-inch subwoofer give 120-degree horizontal coverage, so the back row hears as clearly as the front.
• Stereo pair in one cable: QuickSmart Link joins two EVOLVE 50M systems over a single Ethernet cable for a true stereo stage.
• Pro sound, phone control: QuickSmart DSP, factory presets, per-channel EQ and the QuickSmart Mobile app put a sound engineer's toolkit in your pocket.
• Fast, clean setup: the column, pole and subwoofer assemble in minutes and pack down into a slim, tidy package for transport.

Best Suited For

The EVOLVE 50M suits wedding DJs, solo and duo performers, small bands, corporate events, houses of worship, fitness and dance events, and venues that need a powerful but discreet sound system that one person can set up.

Setup and Connection Guide

Place the subwoofer on the floor, fit the pole and then the column, and connect microphones to the XLR/TRS combo inputs and music sources to the stereo line, RCA or Bluetooth inputs. Select the Music, Live, Speech or Club preset that matches the event, set the master level, and use the QuickSmart Mobile app for fine EQ from the audience area. For stereo coverage, link a second EVOLVE 50M with an Ethernet cable through QuickSmart Link. Take a few minutes to test the Electro-Voice EVOLVE 50M at working volume before the event or session, so levels, placement and presets are settled well in advance.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is the EVOLVE 50M different from the EVOLVE 50?

Can one person set up the EVOLVE 50M?

Yes. The system breaks into a subwoofer, a pole and a column, assembles in minutes without tools, and weighs 26.25 kg in total across its parts.

Can two EVOLVE 50M systems work together in stereo?

Yes. QuickSmart Link connects two EVOLVE 50M systems over Ethernet for a linked stereo pair, controlled from the same app.
