The Electro-Voice EVIVA 15P Active Loudspeaker is a 1000 W 15-inch active PA speaker with Bluetooth streaming, two mic/line inputs, and 126 dB max SPL.
Electro-Voice EVIVA 15P Active Loudspeaker – 1000 W 15-inch Active PA Speaker with Bluetooth
The Electro-Voice EVIVA 15P Active Loudspeaker is a 1000 W two-way active PA speaker built around a 15-inch ferrite woofer and a 1-inch neodymium compression driver, giving you full-range sound with real low-end authority from a single box. With a maximum SPL of 126 dB, Bluetooth audio streaming, and two mic/line inputs with a mix output, the Electro-Voice EVIVA 15P Active Loudspeaker covers DJs, live performers, presenters, and venues that need a loud, clear, and genuinely portable system. Its single-knob control with dual-colour LED metering keeps operation simple even when you are working without a separate mixer.
Why Choose the Electro-Voice EVIVA 15P Active Loudspeaker?
The Electro-Voice EVIVA 15P Active Loudspeaker earns its place because it balances output, features, and weight in a way that suits working performers. At 14.6 kg it is light enough for one person to carry and pole-mount, yet its 15-inch woofer reaches down to 56 Hz, so music sounds full without an added subwoofer for most events. Bluetooth streaming lets you play backing tracks or background music straight from a phone, while the switchable mono/stereo mix output makes it easy to link a second speaker or feed a recorder. The MUSIC and LIVE DSP modes, the switchable high-pass filter, and the peak LED metering on the Electro-Voice EVIVA 15P Active Loudspeaker help you get a clean, feedback-resistant sound quickly, whether you are on a stage, in a hall, or outdoors.
Key Features
1000 W active power: The built-in amplification drives the 15-inch woofer and 1-inch compression driver to 126 dB maximum SPL, enough for audiences of several hundred people.
15-inch woofer plus neodymium HF driver: The WECA2154H ferrite woofer and DENA2504H compression driver with titanium-coated diaphragm cover 45 Hz to 20 kHz with a 90 by 60 degree dispersion pattern.
Bluetooth audio streaming: Stream music wirelessly from a phone or laptop, with a switchable mono/stereo mix output for linking or recording.
Two mic/line inputs plus mix output: Two XLR/TRS combo inputs accept microphones or line sources, and the XLR mix output feeds a second speaker or a recording device.
Simple single-knob control: One knob with dual-colour LED metering handles level and DSP selection, with MUSIC and LIVE modes and a switchable high-pass filter.
Flexible mounting: Stand, pole, floor-monitor, and wall mounting options let the Electro-Voice EVIVA 15P Active Loudspeaker work as a main, monitor, or installed speaker.
Best Suited For
The Electro-Voice EVIVA 15P Active Loudspeaker is best suited for DJs, singers, acoustic performers, fitness instructors, schools, churches, and event companies that need one speaker to do many jobs. It is a strong choice as a main PA for weddings, parties, and presentations, as a floor monitor for a performer, or as a fixed install speaker in a hall or restaurant. Anyone who wants full-range sound without carrying a subwoofer will appreciate the 15-inch format.
Setup and Connection Guide
Set the Electro-Voice EVIVA 15P Active Loudspeaker on a stand, pole, or the floor in monitor position, and connect your microphone or mixer to one of the XLR/TRS combo inputs. If you are streaming, pair your phone over Bluetooth and select the speaker as the audio output; use the mix output in stereo mode for a second speaker or in mono mode for a single summed feed. Choose the MUSIC DSP mode for recorded playback and LIVE for speech and instruments, and engage the high-pass filter when you add a subwoofer so the tops and sub do not overlap. Set the level with the single knob while watching the dual-colour LED metering, keeping peaks out of the red, and you are ready to perform. For a stereo pair, repeat the same settings on the second speaker and balance the two levels from your source.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Electro-Voice EVIVA 15P Active Loudspeaker need an external amplifier or mixer?
No. It is fully active with built-in amplification and two mic/line inputs, so a microphone or phone can connect directly; a mixer is only needed when you have many sources to combine.
Can I use the Electro-Voice EVIVA 15P Active Loudspeaker as a floor monitor?
Yes. The enclosure is shaped for floor-monitor use as well as stand, pole, and wall mounting, and the 90 by 60 degree coverage keeps sound focused on the performer.
How do I connect a second Electro-Voice EVIVA 15P Active Loudspeaker?
Use the XLR mix output on the first speaker to feed the second, and choose mono or stereo mix output depending on whether you want a summed signal or a true stereo pair.
