The Aiwa MI-X450 Pro Enigma is a portable Bluetooth speaker in Aiwa’s MI-X Luxury Acoustics series, combining retro styling with a triple-driver arrangement, 120 W of output and a frequency response of 50 Hz to 15 kHz. The cabinet is finished in wood with PU leather, and a custom-engineered audio limiter is fitted to keep the sound free of distortion even at maximum volume. Unusually for a portable speaker, the Enigma is also a complete karaoke system: two wireless microphones are included, the microphone channel has its own echo, bass, treble and volume controls, and performances can be recorded.

Karaoke With Its Own Control Set

Most portable speakers that accept a microphone offer a single input and a volume knob. The MI-X450 Pro Enigma treats the voice as a channel in its own right: echo adds a stage-like repeat, bass and treble shape the tone of the voice, and a dedicated volume control balances the singer against the backing track. Mic priority automatically lowers the music when someone speaks or sings, which is as useful for announcements at a family function or small event as it is for karaoke. The recording facility saves a performance over its backing track to USB, for practice, parties or simple keepsakes.

Drivers, Limiter and Battery

The triple-driver setup is built around a 12-inch woofer with a 1-inch tweeter, an unusually large main driver for a portable cabinet, which is how the Enigma produces the bass weight its 50 Hz lower response implies. The custom-engineered limiter manages the signal at high levels so the speaker can be run at maximum volume without the harsh distortion that limiters are designed to prevent. Power away from a socket comes from a 22,500 mAh lithium-ion battery rated for 3 to 8 hours of playback depending on volume, recharging in approximately 7 hours over Type-C at 5 V / 2 A.

Connections and Stereo Pairing

Bluetooth 5.0 covers everyday wireless streaming from phones and tablets, and TWS pairing links two Enigma speakers as a true wireless stereo pair for larger spaces. Wired and local sources are equally well covered: USB and TF card playback, an AUX input for players without Bluetooth, and a guitar input that lets the same cabinet serve as a practice amplifier for a singer-guitarist. Where the MI-X450 Pro Enigma Fits

With its retro wood and PU-leather finish, the Enigma is designed to be visible in a living room rather than hidden away, and at approximately 4 kg it remains portable enough for terraces, gardens and gatherings. It is not water resistant, so it belongs under cover outdoors rather than beside a pool.
