JBL Quantum TWS Gaming Earbuds

JBL Quantum TWS Gaming Earbuds

The JBL Quantum TWS earbuds are gaming earbuds with a dual connection: a USB-C 2.4 GHz dongle for low-latency play on PC, PlayStation, Switch and mobile, and Bluetooth 5.2 for everything else. That dual design is the whole point — Bluetooth alone adds delay that competitive players can feel, while the dongle keeps game audio in step with the action, and JBL QuantumSURROUND sound helps place footsteps, shots and movement around you.

Out of the game, they are everyday true wireless earbuds: JBL’s sound tuning, Ambient Aware and TalkThru modes for hearing the room when you need it, voice-assistant access, and a pocketable case. Battery life runs up to 8 hours from the buds with a further 16 hours in the case, and the buds carry an IPX4 rating against sweat and splashes.

Why gamers choose dongle earbuds

Full-size gaming headsets are not always practical — travel, handheld play, hot rooms, shared spaces. The Quantum TWS keeps the two things that matter most from a gaming headset, low-latency audio and positional sound, and drops the bulk. The dongle stores in the case, so the whole gaming setup travels in a pocket.

Everyday listening

Switch to Bluetooth and the same buds handle music, video and calls through the day, with ambient modes for the street and the office. Touch controls manage playback and calls, and the fit is a conventional in-ear with multiple tip sizes for a stable seal.

Setup notes

Use the dongle for anything where lip-sync or reaction time matters, Bluetooth for music and convenience, and fit the largest tips that seal comfortably — positional audio and bass both depend on the seal.

For players who game across console, PC and handheld and want one pocketable audio solution, the Quantum TWS covers both worlds properly.

Ownership notes

Keep the dongle in its case slot when it is not plugged in — it is small, essential and exactly the part that gets lost in bags. Charge the case weekly in heavy use, wipe the buds before they go back on charge, and keep a spare set of tips fitted to your size in the case. With those habits, the Quantum TWS covers the dual life it was bought for: competitive sessions at the desk, everyday listening everywhere else. That combination — competitive latency when it matters, ordinary earbud convenience when it does not — is exactly what most players actually need from one product.
