The Electro-Voice EVERSE 12 Battery-Powered Loudspeaker is a 12-inch portable PA that runs on its own battery, and the Electro-Voice EVERSE 12 Battery-Powered Loudspeaker takes proper pro-audio sound anywhere there is no mains socket: outdoor ceremonies, busking, sports fields, weddings, corporate lawns and street events. Its 400-watt Class D amplifier and Dynacord-powered DSP deliver up to 126 dB from a weatherized polypropylene cabinet, with Bluetooth streaming, a built-in mixer with effects, and app control from a phone.
Battery speakers usually sound like toys or die halfway through the event, and the Electro-Voice EVERSE 12 Battery-Powered Loudspeaker is built to avoid both: the 86.4 Wh battery gives more than 6 hours at maximum output and more than 12 hours at moderate levels, the 12-inch woofer and titanium-diaphragm compression driver give real bass and clear speech rather than a boosted midrange, and the weatherized enclosure with its input cover keeps light rain and splashes from ending the show. The QuickSmart Mobile app controls EQ, effects and up to six systems at once, and true wireless stereo lets two EVERSE 12 units run as a stereo pair with no cables between them.

Best Suited For
The Electro-Voice EVERSE 12 Battery-Powered Loudspeaker suits musicians, mobile DJs, fitness instructors, event hosts, houses of worship and AV providers working outdoors or in venues without convenient mains power. It is a self-contained PA needing no external amplifier, and the optional tray, duffel bag, spare battery and rain cover extend it further; buyers who need a mains-powered install speaker should look at the EKX or ELX200 ranges instead.
Setup and Connection Guide
Charge the Electro-Voice EVERSE 12 Battery-Powered Loudspeaker fully before the event, then place it on a pole, tilt it back as a monitor, or set it on the ground for kick-back use. Connect microphones or instruments to the XLR/TRS combo inputs and a phone or laptop over Bluetooth or the 3.5 mm input, then use the LCD or the QuickSmart Mobile app to set EQ, effects and volume, and to link a second EVERSE 12 in true wireless stereo if needed. The 12 V DC output can power a wireless microphone receiver, and the USB port can top up a phone during the set. Fit the weatherized input cover if rain is expected, and recharge after use so the battery is ready for the next event.
