The Yamaha DHR15 is a two-way bi-amplified powered loudspeaker built for main PA applications, combining a 15-inch woofer and a 1.4-inch high-frequency compression driver in a premium plywood cabinet. With 1,000 W of dynamic Class-D power and a maximum SPL of 131 dB, it has the headroom to cover halls, houses of worship, live venues and outdoor events without sounding strained.

Yamaha draws on its professional amplifier and DSP experience throughout the DHR series. FIR-X tuning uses linear-phase FIR filters to align frequency and phase response at the crossover, and a high-performance DSP platform monitors and protects the amplifier and drivers, so the speaker can be pushed hard with confidence night after night.

Power and clarity, properly engineered

The DHR15 splits its amplification between the drivers: the low-frequency section delivers the weight for kick drums and bass instruments, while the high-frequency section keeps vocals and cymbals clean at level. FIR-X tuning matters because a crossover that disturbs phase smears transients and narrows the area where the sound stays coherent. Two input channels accept microphones or line sources through combo sockets, with RCA connectors on channel two for playback devices, and the onboard mixer can pass channel one through or send a mix of both channels to another speaker.
