Gallo Acoustics Profile Subwoofer (Black)

Gallo Acoustics Profile Subwoofer (Black) – The Slim On-Wall Sub That Completes a Gallo System

The Gallo Acoustics Profile is a slim subwoofer designed to mount flat against a wall, created specifically to partner the company’s Micro and A’Diva satellite speakers. Small spherical satellites deliver remarkable clarity and imaging for their size, but physics limits how much low-frequency energy a tiny enclosure can produce. The Profile supplies that missing foundation without asking for the floor space of a conventional box subwoofer.

In its black finish the Profile recedes visually into a dark wall or media unit, which is precisely the point of a Gallo system: the speakers should be heard in full and barely seen at all. Mounted on the wall, the subwoofer keeps floors clear, stays safe from vacuum cleaners and passing feet, and keeps the room looking like a room rather than a showroom.

Why satellite systems need a proper subwoofer

A satellite and subwoofer system divides the work according to what each part does best. The satellites handle dialogue, detail and imaging from enclosures small enough to place exactly where the soundstage needs them, while the subwoofer handles the low octaves that give film effects their physical weight and music its sense of scale. Set the crossover on your AV receiver or amplifier correctly and the handover becomes inaudible: voices stay anchored to the screen, explosions arrive with real pressure, and the system simply sounds bigger than it looks.

Placement on the wall

Wall mounting changes subwoofer placement for the better in many rooms. The Profile can sit on the front wall near the satellites, which usually gives the smoothest blend, and its slim depth means it can hide behind a curtain line, beside a media unit or under a screen. As with any subwoofer, small position changes along the wall alter the bass balance at the listening seat, so a little experimentation before final fixing pays off in tighter, more even low frequencies.

Who the Profile suits

Choose the Profile if you already own, or are building, a Gallo Micro or A’Diva system and want it to sound complete. It suits apartments, media walls and minimalist living rooms where a floor-standing subwoofer would dominate the space. On its own it is a component, not a system; paired with Gallo satellites and a suitable amplifier or AV receiver, it is the piece that turns an elegant compact setup into a convincing full-range one.
