NEDIS High Speed HDMI Cable with Ethernet 1m (Black)

NEDIS High Speed HDMI Cable with Ethernet 1m (Black)

This NEDIS cable is a 1 metre High Speed HDMI cable with Ethernet, in black, for connecting HDMI sources to displays over the short distance most equipment actually sits apart: a console under a television, a set-top box in the same unit, a laptop on a desk driving a monitor, or a media player beside a projector. HDMI carries picture and sound on the one lead, and the Ethernet channel in this cable’s designation allows compatible equipment to share a network connection over the same link where the connected devices support it. A 1 metre run keeps TV units and desks free of coiled spare cable.

Key features

• High Speed HDMI cable with Ethernet channel, as designated by NEDIS
• HDMI connectors at both ends for source-to-display connection
• 1 metre length for short, tidy equipment runs
• Carries video and audio on a single cable
• Black finish
• For TVs, monitors, consoles, set-top boxes, computers and media players

Choosing the right length

Cable length is a practical decision before it is a technical one. One metre reaches comfortably between devices stacked in a TV unit or sitting side by side on a desk, with enough slack to pull a unit forward for access without unplugging. It will not reach from a wall-mounted television down to a distant rack, and it is not meant to: measure the actual route the cable will take, including the drop from a wall bracket and the bend room at each connector, and choose the length that route needs. A cable at a comfortable length, neither strained nor coiled, is the one that stays connected and forgotten.

Fitting notes

HDMI plugs are keyed and push straight in; they should seat with firm, even pressure and never be forced at an angle. Support the cable’s weight at equipment on shallow shelves so the plug is not levered by a hanging run, and keep bends gentle rather than folding the cable back on itself. If a picture does not appear, the reliable order of checks is that both plugs are fully seated, the display is on the correct input, and the source is outputting a resolution the display accepts — in that order, before suspecting the cable.

About the specification, stated carefully

NEDIS sells several HDMI cable families at several performance grades, and this listing is for its High Speed HDMI cable with Ethernet in the 1 metre length. The copy here restates only that designation, the Ethernet channel the product is named for, and the physical facts of the cable — because the exact performance figures of an HDMI cable belong to the specific model, and this listing’s identity is its name, length and finish. For everyday connections between modern sources and displays at this distance, that is the cable being offered: a short, standard HDMI lead from an established accessories brand.

If your source and display sit side by side, this 1 metre NEDIS High Speed HDMI cable with Ethernet is the simple, tidy connection between them.
