The BenQ LH750 is a Full HD business projector built for lit meeting rooms. Image quality for presentation content

BenQ specifies 98 percent coverage of the Rec.709 gamut, and the LED light source’s colour saturation helps charts, brand colours and photographs hold up under ambient light. The all-glass, low-dispersion lens array is coated to reduce colour fringing, which matters most on fine text and line diagrams. Dedicated picture modes include Infographic, tuned to make text and graphics legible, Presentation and sRGB modes, and HDR10 and HLG support for video content. Input lag is 33.4 ms at 1080p and 60 Hz, and the projector accepts signals from VGA up to 4K UHD, scaling them to its native Full HD panel.

Installation flexibility

The LH750 is designed primarily for ceiling mounting, which keeps the table clear and avoids shadows from people moving around the room. Its 1.62x zoom is unusually generous for this class, giving a wide range of mounting positions for a given screen size through the 1.16 to 1.88 throw ratio. Two-dimensional keystone correction of plus or minus 30 degrees, automatic vertical keystone, corner fit and digital image shift and shrink tools help square the picture during commissioning, though the optical zoom should always be used first so correction is kept to a minimum. The unit measures 420.7 x 131.7 x 286.1 mm and weighs 5.5 kg.

Connections, control and running costs

Two HDMI 2.0b inputs with HDCP 2.2 handle modern laptops and media sources, and there are two USB Type A ports, a LAN connection and RS232 for control. BenQ’s DMS software and compatibility with Crestron, AMX and PJ Link systems allow centralised monitoring where several projectors are installed across a site.
