BenQ LH750 LED Projector

BenQ LH750 4LED Installation Projector

The BenQ LH750 is an installation projector for meeting rooms and classrooms that replaces the lamp with a 4LED light source. It produces 5,000 ANSI lumens at native Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080), and the LED source is rated for 20,000 hours of operation — 30,000 in eco mode — with consistent colour over its life. Colour coverage of 98% of Rec.709 keeps presentation graphics and video accurate, and the 1.62x zoom lens covers a wide range of room sizes from one mount position.

Key features

• 5,000 ANSI lumens brightness for lit rooms
• Native Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution
• 4LED light source, 20,000 hours (30,000 eco)
• 98% Rec.709 colour coverage
• 1.62x zoom with 1.16:1 to 1.88:1 throw ratio
• 500,000:1 contrast ratio (full on/full off)
• Network control and management over LAN

LED light source economics

The total-cost argument for LED installation projectors is straightforward: no lamp purchases, no lamp-change labour, and no brightness decay curve to plan around. The LH750’s 4LED engine adds a fourth (pump) LED to the RGB array to reach its 5,000-lumen rating while keeping the wide, stable colour of LED illumination. Instant on/off behaviour also suits rooms used in back-to-back bookings, and standby draw is low.

Colour and contrast for presentations

BenQ rates colour reproduction at 98% of Rec.709, so brand colours, charts and photographs render faithfully rather than merely brightly. The rated contrast ratio of 500,000:1 (full on/full off, with LED dimming) keeps text edges and dark video scenes legible, and HDR10 and HLG support covers HDR sources used in training and signage content. Infographic and presentation picture modes are tuned for data content.

Installation and control

The 1.62x zoom is the largest in its class at this brightness, and combined with the 1.16:1 to 1.88:1 throw ratio it lets installers reuse existing mount positions when replacing older projectors. Two HDMI 2.0b inputs, USB and LAN are provided; network control works with Crestron, AMX and PJLink systems, and BenQ’s DMS management software administers fleets of projectors centrally. A 20 W built-in speaker covers voice and video audio in mid-size rooms.

Replacement and fleet use

Many LH750 installations are replacements: a failed lamp projector comes down and the new unit goes onto the same mount and the same cable run. The wide zoom range, standard input set and LAN control protocols are specified with exactly that swap in mind, and BenQ’s Device Management Solution lets an IT team push settings, schedule power and read lamp-free source hours across a whole estate from one console — the operational detail that decides fleet purchases more often than any picture specification.

Physical details

The LH750 measures 420.7 x 131.7 x 286.1 mm, weighs 5.5 kg and runs at 34 dB in normal mode (29 dB eco). Input lag is 33.4 ms at 1080p/60, fine for presentation and video duties. The full manufacturer specification is in the Additional Information tab.
