Amigo 8K HDMI Cable 10m

Amigo 8K HDMI Cable

The Amigo 8K HDMI Cable is a 10-metre HDMI 2.1 cable built for installations where the source and the screen are not in the same rack, the same corner or even the same end of the room. At 48Gbps of bandwidth it carries the full HDMI 2.1 feature set, including 8K at 60Hz and 4K at 120Hz video, eARC audio return, Dynamic HDR and variable refresh rate support, across a length that lets a projector, a wall-mounted television or a presentation display sit exactly where the room needs it while the player, console or PC stays where it is practical to keep it.

Key features

• HDMI 2.1 cable, 10-metre length
• Supports 8K at 60Hz and 4K at 120Hz
• 48Gbps bandwidth for full-spec HDMI 2.1 signals
• eARC for high-quality audio return to a soundbar or AV receiver
• Dynamic HDR support
• Variable Refresh Rate and ALLM support for gaming
• Gold-plated connectors for reliable, corrosion-resistant contact

Full HDMI 2.1 bandwidth over a long run

Resolution headlines only tell half the story. A cable earns the HDMI 2.1 label by moving 48Gbps reliably, and that headroom is what carries high frame rate gaming, high colour depth and uncompressed audio formats simultaneously rather than forcing compromises between them. This Amigo cable is specified for 8K at 60Hz for current and future 8K displays, and for 4K at 120Hz, the mode that modern games consoles and gaming PCs use for smooth motion. At 10 metres it suits the runs that short patch cables simply cannot cover: ceiling projectors fed from a rack at the back of the room, televisions mounted across a living space from the equipment, and meeting-room displays cabled back to a desk or lectern position.

Picture features that travel with the signal

Dynamic HDR passes scene-by-scene brightness information to compatible displays, so dark scenes keep their detail and bright scenes keep their punch instead of being squeezed into a single compromise setting. For gaming, Variable Refresh Rate lets the display match the console or PC’s frame output to reduce tearing and stutter, while Auto Low Latency Mode support allows a compatible television to switch itself into its fastest response setting when a game starts. These are link-level features: they only work when every part of the chain, including the cable, supports them, which is the reason to choose a full-bandwidth cable rather than reusing an older one and hoping.

eARC for proper sound from the television

With eARC, the same cable that feeds the picture returns high-quality audio from the television’s own tuners and streaming apps to a soundbar or AV receiver, including the lossless and object-based formats that older audio return channels cannot carry. One cable between screen and sound system keeps a clean installation clean, which matters over a 10-metre run where extra cables are extra clutter. Gold-plated connectors resist the oxidation that degrades contact over years of installation, and they are the part of the cable most often plugged and unplugged during setup, so durability there is well spent.

Planning a 10-metre run

A long cable rewards a few minutes of planning. Route it away from tight bends, avoid pinching it in door frames or under furniture, and leave a little service slack at each end so equipment can be pulled forward for cleaning or connection changes without straining the plugs. Run that way, this cable becomes fit-and-forget infrastructure for the room.

Choose the Amigo 8K HDMI Cable in 10 metres if your screen and your source live far apart and you want the full HDMI 2.1 feature set, 8K and 4K 120Hz video, eARC audio and gaming refresh features, to arrive intact at the far end.
