BenQ X3100I 4K UHD 4LED Gaming Projector

BenQ X3100i 4K UHD 4LED Gaming Projector – A 100-Inch Screen That Keeps Up With Your Console

Gaming on a projector used to mean accepting lag and washed-out colour as the price of a huge screen. The BenQ X3100i is built specifically to remove both compromises. It is a 4K UHD gaming projector with a 3300 ANSI lumen 4LED light source, input lag as low as 4.2 ms at 1080p 240 Hz and 16.7 ms at 4K 60 Hz, and colour coverage reaching 100 percent of DCI-P3. Fast, bright and accurate at once – and large enough that racing games, open-world titles and football matches stop feeling like television and start feeling like venues.

BenQ’s gaming-specific picture modes, a supplied Android TV dongle for streaming, and chamber speakers tuned by treVolo round out a machine designed for a games room or a serious living-room setup.

Low lag, explained honestly

Input lag is the delay between pressing a button and seeing the result, and it decides whether a projector feels responsive or drunk. The X3100i gives you the choice competitive players actually want: drop to 1080p and the refresh climbs to 240 Hz with lag down to 4.2 ms – territory normally reserved for gaming monitors – or stay at native 4K 60 Hz with 16.7 ms, comfortably fast for story-driven and cinematic games. Console and PC both benefit, and the projector detects game sources to keep settings optimised.

4LED brightness and colour that last

The four-LED light source adds a dedicated pump LED for extra brightness, which is how the X3100i reaches 3300 ANSI lumens while still covering the full DCI-P3 gamut used by HDR games and films. LEDs also hold their colour balance over a long service life, with no lamp to dim or replace. Game-specific modes go further than a generic vivid setting: FPS mode lifts shadow detail so opponents stop hiding in dark corners, while RPG mode enriches colour and contrast for worlds built to be looked at.

Placement and everyday use

This is a conventional-throw projector: plan its distance from the 1.15-1.50 throw ratio, use the 1.3x zoom to fine-tune image size, and align physically before relying on keystone correction. Built-in speakers cover casual sessions, and HDMI eARC passes full-quality audio to a soundbar or receiver when the room setup grows. Between sessions, the included Android TV dongle covers films and streaming, so the projector earns its place on non-gaming nights too.

If your screen size ambitions have outgrown televisions but your standards for speed and colour have not dropped, the X3100i is the gaming projector that meets both.
