Artis BT916 Bluetooth Party Speaker With Wireless Mic

Artis BT916 Bluetooth Party Speaker With Wireless Mic

The Artis BT916 is a portable party speaker system that combines music playback and voice amplification in one box. Alongside Bluetooth streaming it provides a wireless microphone for karaoke and announcements, EQ modes to shape the sound, and USB and auxiliary inputs for sources that do not use Bluetooth. It is aimed at house parties, small gatherings, society functions and informal events where one self-contained unit has to handle both the playlist and the microphone.

Key features

• Bluetooth playback from phones, tablets and laptops
• Wireless microphone included for karaoke and announcements
• USB and AUX inputs for wired and storage-based sources
• EQ modes to adapt the tonal balance to the material
• Battery operation for use away from a mains socket
• Party lighting as part of the BT916 family feature set
• Portable cabinet with integrated controls

Music and microphone in one unit

The BT916’s reason to exist is the combination: most party speakers play music and stop there, leaving announcements and karaoke to a separate PA. Here the wireless microphone works alongside the music path, so a host can introduce a song, hand the mic to a singer and return to the playlist without rewiring anything. For family functions, school events and housing-society gatherings, that single-box workflow is the whole point.

Inputs for how people actually play music

Bluetooth covers the phone-first majority, but the USB and AUX connections matter at real events: a laptop without pairing time, a pendrive with a prepared playlist, or an older player with only a headphone socket. EQ modes give a quick way to add weight for dance music or clarity for speech without a separate mixer.

A note on the power figure

The listing identifies a 120 W output figure for the BT916 but does not establish its measurement basis, so it should not be read as a continuous RMS rating. Judge the speaker by the size of the space it needs to cover and test it at event volume; for rooms and small outdoor gatherings in its intended class, coverage and the microphone workflow matter more than the headline number.

At the event itself

The BT916’s value shows in the small logistics of a real gathering. There is no separate microphone receiver to wire, no mixer to balance the singer against the track, and no laptop tethered to the speaker by a cable someone will trip over. The host’s phone stays the music source, the mic passes hand to hand, and the EQ modes cover the difference between a speech-heavy function and a dance floor. For organisers who run society events, tuition-centre functions or family celebrations a few times a year, that self-containment is worth more than specifications — the system either gets used because it is easy, or it stays in the cupboard.

Choose the Artis BT916 if you want one portable unit that plays the music and carries the microphone — karaoke nights, announcements and party playback without hiring or assembling a separate PA system.
