Heco INC 62 In-Ceiling Speaker is a medium-sized 2-way in-ceiling speaker from the Install Basic series, built around a 160 mm waterproof textured polypropylene cone and a specially coated 25 mm fabric dome tweeter in a coaxial layout.
The coaxial layout puts the tweeter centrally in front of the bass-midrange driver, so sound spreads evenly in all directions from the ceiling, which is exactly what a ceiling speaker needs in a living room, bathroom or corridor. A pivoting tweeter that turns up to 35 degrees and a three-stage level adjustment let the installer aim and balance the sound for the actual listening position.
Why Choose Heco INC 62 In-Ceiling Speaker?
Ceiling speakers live or die on installation and room adaptation, and this model covers both: a special clamping mechanism fixes it into a plasterboard ceiling after the grille is removed, the grille itself gives a seamless transition to the discreet mounting frame, and every component is moisture-proof so the same speaker works in a bathroom as well as a lounge.
Key Features
160 mm polypropylene cone: waterproof textured cone with a long-throw rubber surround for dynamic bass
25 mm fabric dome tweeter: specially coated soft dome, coaxially mounted for even dispersion
Swivel tweeter: pivots up to 35 degrees in all directions to aim treble at the listening area
Moisture-proof system: suitable for humid rooms such as bathrooms and swimming-pool areas
Easy clamping installation: special clamping mechanism and removable grille for a clean ceiling finish
Best Suited For
Living rooms, bathrooms, kitchens and corridors where music should come from the ceiling without visible speakers, and installers fitting a discreet multi-room system. That is the listener Heco INC 62 In-Ceiling Speaker is built for.
Setup and Connection Guide
Cut the ceiling opening, remove the grille, loosen the clamping screws to position A, insert the speaker, then tighten the screws so the clamps pivot to position B and lock it in place. Connect a good-quality speaker cable, switch the amplifier off before connecting, and set the tweeter and level switches to suit the room before refitting the grille.
The tweeter can be pivoted by hand up to 35 degrees after installation, so aim it toward the main listening area rather than straight down if the seating is off to one side.
