Product highlights
A two-way in-ceiling speaker with 6.5-inch driver, titanium dome tweeter and paintable magnetic bezel-free grille.
Description
The Paradigm CI Contractor C65-R is a two-way in-ceiling speaker for homes, offices and commercial spaces where sound should be heard, not seen. A 6.5-inch mineral-filled polypropylene mid and bass driver pairs with a 3/4-inch pure-titanium dome tweeter, crossed over at 3.0 kHz through a second-order electro-acoustic network for a smooth, even response.
On-axis response runs within plus or minus 2 dB from 72 Hz to 20 kHz, with 89 dB room sensitivity and 85 dB anechoic, and the 8-ohm compatible design works with amplifiers from 15 to 80 watts. At 8.75 inches across with a minimum mounting depth of just 7.6 cm and a weight of about 1.59 kg, it fits standard ceiling voids without fuss.
The white, paintable, bezel-free micro-perforated grille attaches magnetically and blends into the ceiling, while binding posts accept banana plugs, pins or bare wire. For background music, home theatre surrounds or distributed audio, the C65-R delivers genuine Paradigm sound from an almost invisible footprint.
