JBL Control 64P/T White Pendant Loudspeaker

JBL Control 64P/T White Pendant Loudspeaker

The JBL Control 64P/T White Pendant Loudspeaker is a full-range pendant loudspeaker for open ceilings, with a 4-inch driver, a 70 V / 100 V transformer and a paintable white enclosure.

At a glance, the JBL Control 64P/T White Pendant Loudspeaker stands out for 4-inch full-range driver (a single 4-inch driver for clear speech and music); pendant mounting (hangs from open ceilings where wall or ceiling mounting does not fit); 70 v / 100 v or 8-ohm use (a multi-tap transformer for distributed lines plus direct 8-ohm wiring); 120° coverage (wide, even coverage across open floor plans); complete hanging kit (two suspension cables and clamps ship with each speaker). Those points, taken together with the specification table below, are what separate this model from cheaper or differently sized alternatives in the same range.

Why Choose JBL Control 64P/T White Pendant Loudspeaker?

The JBL Control 64P/T White Pendant Loudspeaker is for rooms with no ceiling to mount into. It hangs cleanly over cafes, lobbies and retail floors, spreads sound evenly at 120°, and blends in once painted to match.

In practice, buyers choose this model for the combination above rather than for any single figure: the headline features work together, so the product sounds right in its intended setting instead of excelling in one area and falling short in another.

Setup and Connection Guide

Hang the speaker from its supplied suspension cables at the planned height, wire it to the chosen tap or 8-ohm output, adjust the clamps to level it, and aim it at the listening area.

Before first use, confirm that the amplifier or source matches the connections and ratings in the specification table, start with levels low, and raise them gradually while listening from the normal seating or working position. That simple check avoids clipping, protects the drivers, and gives a fair first impression of what this product can do.

Also check the room and power side before ordering: measure the space the product will occupy, confirm the amplifier, television or source has a matching output, and allow ventilation and cable access around the unit so installation is straightforward on delivery day.
