Why Choose Focal SUB 600P Active Subwoofer?

It is the subwoofer for systems where the main speakers already do most of the work. The 600P fills in only the bottom octaves, its variable crossover and phase controls make the handover inaudible, and its auto-standby means it is always ready without wasting power.

Key Features

• 12-inch Polyflex woofer: a 30 cm Polyflex driver for deep, controlled bass.
• 600 W dynamic power: 300 W RMS Class D amplification with 600 W dynamic headroom.
• Closed cabinet: a sealed design for tight, musical bass without port artefacts.
• Variable crossover and phase: 40 to 200 Hz crossover with 0-degree/180-degree phase for seamless blending.
• Auto standby: automatic standby saves power when no signal is present.
• Magnetic grille: a clean high-gloss front with a removable magnetic grille.

Best Suited For

Chora and Aria home cinemas and stereo systems that need bass extension to 28 Hz without a very large or very expensive subwoofer. That is the buyer the Focal SUB 600P Active Subwoofer is built for.

Setup and Connection Guide

Connect over stereo RCA or LFE, set the crossover to the main speakers’ roll-off, adjust phase for the fullest bass at the seat, and leave auto-standby on so the subwoofer wakes with the system. Once connected, the Focal SUB 600P Active Subwoofer is ready for its first session.

Frequently Asked Questions

How low does the Focal SUB 600P Active Subwoofer go?

Does it have a grille?
