Description

The Electro-Voice EVID 6.2T is a high-output surface-mount loudspeaker for commercial and large-room sound, pairing two 6-inch woofers with a 1-inch titanium tweeter for full-range music and clear speech. It reaches down to 62 Hz and up to 20 kHz, with 94 dB sensitivity and 300 watts of program power handling, so a single speaker covers a generous area without strain.

As a transformer version, the 6.2T suits distributed 70 V and 100 V systems, with taps at 7.5, 15, 30 and 60 watts plus an 8-ohm bypass for direct low-impedance use. That flexibility makes it a natural fit for restaurants, retail floors, houses of worship, schools and outdoor patios, where many speakers share one amplifier and each zone needs its own level.

The weather-resistant ABS enclosure and the included Strong-Arm Mount let the speaker aim precisely where the listeners are, with a 100 by 80 degree coverage pattern, and a Phoenix connector keeps wiring tidy. At 419 by 228 by 298 mm and 5.3 kg, it is a substantial speaker built for permanent installation rather than temporary setups.
