is the larger THX Select certified in-wall LCR speaker in the Klipsch THX Cinema series, using four 5.25-inch high-output fibreglass woofers around a single 1-inch titanium diaphragm compression driver on a 90 x 90 degree square Tractrix horn. The quad-woofer array moves far more air than a two-woofer design, so large rooms get effortless cinema dynamics without strain.
Klipsch THX-504L In-Wall LCR Speaker mounts flush in the wall for left, centre or right duty and is timbre-matched to every other Klipsch THX-certified product, keeping dialogue, music and effects tonally consistent across the whole system.
Why Choose Klipsch THX-504L In-Wall LCR Speaker?
Klipsch THX-504L In-Wall LCR Speaker earns its place in bigger theatres where the smaller THX-502L would be working hard. Four woofers share the load, distortion stays low at reference levels, and the tall, narrow cabinet fits neatly beside or below a large screen. Like its smaller sibling it uses the wall cavity as its enclosure, so the room keeps its clean lines while the sound stays unmistakably cinematic.
Key Features
The THX-504L is a high-output architectural speaker built for large-room cinema.
THX Select certified: Certified for effortless dynamic range and superior sound in larger rooms.
Four 5.25-inch fibreglass woofers: A quad-woofer array delivers powerful bass impact with low distortion.
Titanium compression driver on Tractrix horn: A 1-inch titanium driver on a 90 x 90 horn gives detailed, far-reaching highs.
Flush in-wall LCR design: An infinite-baffle, front-flush mount hides the speaker behind a paintable grille.
Timbre-matched THX family: Spectrally matched to all Klipsch THX products for system-wide coherence.
Best Suited For
Klipsch THX-504L In-Wall LCR Speaker suits large dedicated theatres, premium media rooms and living spaces with big screens, where the front channels must deliver reference-level dynamics from inside the wall. It is the natural front-stage choice when the room is too large for compact in-wall models.
Setup and Connection Guide
Klipsch THX-504L In-Wall LCR Speaker needs a tall, narrow wall cutout of 27.25 x 6.5 inches and 3.52 inches of mounting depth, with the IK-504-W installation kit for new construction. Wire it from the receiver front channels, mount vertically for left and right or horizontally where the design allows for centre use, fit the grille, and run room calibration to balance it against the surrounds and subwoofer.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this speaker sold singly or as a pair?
It is sold singly, as one in-wall LCR speaker; a full front stage needs three units.
How is it different from the THX-502L?
It uses four 5.25-inch woofers instead of two and handles 150W continuous instead of 100W, for higher output in larger rooms.
Can it be used as a centre speaker?
Yes. It is an LCR design, so the same model serves left, centre and right channels.
