Alto Professional TS412 Powered PA Speaker

Alto Professional TS412 Powered PA Speaker – 2500 W TrueSonic Power for Live Sound

The Alto Professional TS412 is the 12-inch powered loudspeaker in the TrueSonic 4 series, a self-contained PA speaker with its amplifier, crossover and processing built in. Connect a microphone, a mixer or a phone, and the system is ready to work. There is no amplifier rack to carry and no external crossover to set, which is exactly what working performers, DJs and event organisers need from a modern PA box.

The 12-inch woofer gives the TS412 noticeably more low-end weight than the smaller models in the range, so a pair can cover small to medium venues for music playback and live vocals without a subwoofer. For larger events it pairs happily with a TrueSonic subwoofer, and its mounting options cover pole stands, stage wedge duty and flown installs.

Performance for live work

Output is the currency of a PA speaker, and the TS412 trades well. The combination of a high-efficiency Class-D amplifier, a 12-inch driver with a high-temperature voice coil and a 1.4-inch compression driver delivers a 53 Hz to 20 kHz response with enough headroom to keep vocals clear over a busy room. Coverage of 90 degrees horizontal by 60 degrees vertical suits typical venue layouts, filling the audience area evenly rather than beaming sound down the centre.

The onboard DSP modes shape the speaker for its job, whether that is a full-range PA on a pole, a wedge monitor at a performer's feet, or a satellite working with a subwoofer, where the sub-size control sets the high-pass filter to match. Clip, thermal and transducer protection run in the background so the speaker looks after itself when the night gets loud.

Mixer, streaming and app control

The rear panel carries two XLR and quarter-inch combo inputs with independent gain and mic or line switching, enough for a vocal microphone and an instrument or mixer feed without any extra hardware. A third channel arrives over Bluetooth for backing tracks and break music, and two TS412s link wirelessly for true stereo playback. The Alto app mirrors the essential controls remotely, so EQ and levels can be adjusted from the audience position during soundcheck rather than from behind the speaker.

Build and mounting

The injection-moulded enclosure is light for its output class at 15 kg, with a perforated metal grille protecting the drivers. A standard 36 mm pole socket, M10 suspension points for flown installation and an angled side for wedge use cover the ways working speakers actually get deployed, and carry handles are placed for one-person load-ins.

The TS412 is for DJs, bands, fitness instructors, houses of worship and event companies that need serious output per box without separate amplification. Buy a pair and you have a complete, expandable PA for most small and medium rooms.
