Why Choose Focal DIMENSION 5.1 Soundbar?

A soundbar has to do three jobs: beat the TV’s speakers, keep dialogue intelligible and stay invisible. The Dimension does all three with real Focal drivers rather than small full-range units, and its six-channel design means the centre channel never has to share an amplifier with the effects.

Key Features

• Five ultra-flat drivers: five 10 cm drivers, each with its own channel, for a true 5.1 image from one bar.
• 450 W, six channels: 450 watts across six channels for dialogue clarity and dynamic film sound.
• HDMI ARC and CEC: HDMI input and output with ARC and CEC, plus optical and 3.5 mm auxiliary inputs.
• Tactile touchscreen: a touch panel on the bar for volume, input and mode control without a remote.
• Placement optimisation: rear-panel acoustic settings for wall, furniture or corner placement.
• Night mode: a late-night mode that keeps dialogue clear at low volume.

Best Suited For

TV rooms where separate surround speakers are not practical, and buyers who want a single Focal bar under the television. That is the buyer the Focal DIMENSION 5.1 Soundbar is built for.

Setup and Connection Guide

Place the bar on furniture or wall-mount it under the TV, connect the TV over HDMI ARC or optical, select the placement setting on the rear panel for wall or furniture mounting, and add the optional Dimension Sub later if deeper bass is wanted. Once connected, the Focal DIMENSION 5.1 Soundbar is ready for its first session.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the Focal DIMENSION 5.1 Soundbar include the Dimension Sub?

This listing describes the soundbar on its own. The Dimension Sub is an optional powered sixth channel that can be added separately.

How do I connect it to a TV?

Over HDMI ARC for single-cable audio and TV-remote volume control, or over optical or 3.5 mm auxiliary for older TVs.

How big is it?

115.5 x 11.5 x 11.5 cm on furniture, weighing 5.5 kg.
